Mission: We exist to carry out the will of God who has commanded us to proclaim the Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ to the entire world. To accomplish this, we unite in worship and join together in Christian fellowship. We grow in God's grace through Bible Study. We witness to the world that Jesus Christ is everyone's Savior through his perfect life, sacrificial death, and triumphant resurrection. We desire to share the comforting confidence that everyone can be certain of eternal salvation through God's promise of forgiveness and peace in Jesus Christ.
We envision New Life assisting its members to recognize the trust that each of us (as individuals) and all of us (as a congregation) have been given (grace given). We envision New Life assisting its members to clearly identify the specifics of that trust. We envision New Life assisting its members to deliberately make use of that trust, to shine the light of Christ, compelled by the love of Christ (grace driven). We envision this service to others in our homes, in our church family, in our church community, in our Shoreview community, in our neighborhoods, and throughout the world.
Preaching, Sacramentalism, Worship
We value public worship that best shares the gospel of Jesus Christ in both God’s Word and the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion. We value praising our Lord through prayer and musical gifts of singing and instruments.
Teaching Scripture, Youth Education
We value the spiritual growth of all of God’s people at New Life through the teaching of God’s Word and the support of Christian Education.
Shepherding, Servant Attitude
We value putting our gifts and talents to work in God’s Kingdom through Christian service to one another by caring for each other and showing Christian love.
Facility
We value taking care of the ministry tools with which we have been blessed, seeing all of them, especially our facility, as a means to carry out our other core values.
