Time and Talents often go hand in hand. We have many opportunities available to offer support in carrying out the Gospel mission. If you are interested in volunteering your time and talents to serve the Lord, please contact us.
“Whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly.” (2 Corinthians 9:6-8). Motivated by the love of Jesus, who freely gives us the treasures of heaven, we offer him our best gifts. Here are some ways to give generously and to regularly support the work of the Lord.
E-Giving (Click Here)
Electronic Giving is a convenient, consistent way to express our love for our Savior and to support his saving work. Consider scheduling a recurring electronic contribution today. It’s easy! You no longer need to write out checks and prepare envelopes every week. Even when travel, illness or other circumstances prevent you from attending services, your electronic contributions continue to be received on an uninterrupted basis. You can manage your account on your own, and schedule payments on a weekly, monthly or one time basis – there is no need to lock yourself into a schedule. To sign up, click here. You will be required to enter a monetary value into a fund to get started. We suggest a one-time-only payment of $5 into the general fund as a test. Once you have set up your account, you will be able to select any fund, amount, and schedule you are comfortable with.
Long-Range Gifts
The Planned Giving Committee is ready to work with you in establishing gifts that will make a long-range ministry impact. This committee not only manages New Life Evangelical Lutheran Church’s Endowment and Trust Funds but it also helps educate individuals regarding long-term ministry gifts.
The outreach committee is constantly looking for individuals who are willing to step out into the community to share the good news of Jesus. It can be as simple as handing out invitations for Easter services. Or perhaps it’s following up with worship visitors to thank them for their visit and to give them more information about our church. Whether or not you have experience making outreach calls, we would love to have your help and we will gladly give you the training and encouragement you need.
